Scinax insperatus Silva and Alves-Silva, 2011, Zootaxa, 3043: 55. Holotype: MNRJ 72813, by original designation. Type locality: "from Alcantarea imperialis(Bromeliaceae) in the district of Vera Cruz (22° 13′ 14.6″ S and 43° 26′ 02.1″ W, near 680 m), Municipality of Miguel Pereira, State of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil".

English Names

None noted.

Distribution

Known only from the Municpality of Miguel Pereira (including the type locality and another nearby), and the Municpality of Valenca, about 40 km northwest of the type locality, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

In the Scinax perpusillus group according to the original publication.
