Hylambates ragazzii Boulenger, 1896, Ann. Mus. Civ. Stor. Nat. Genova, Ser. 2, 16: 554. Holotype: MSNG 28866, according to Capocaccia, 1957, Ann. Mus. Civ. Stor. Nat. Genova, Ser. 3, 69: 218. Type locality: "Shoa" Province, Ethiopia.

English Names

Shoa Forest Treefrog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 69).

Distribution

Montane forests in the Ethiopian Highlands on both sides of the Rift Valley at 1930-3100 m elevation.
