Ptychohyla panchoi Duellman and Campbell, 1982, Herpetologica, 38: 374. Holotype: KU 190333, by original designation. Type locality: "Aldea Vista Hermosa, Municipio Los Amates, Departamento de Izabal, Guatemala . . . . Vista Hermosa is situated on the northern escarpment of the Sierra de las Minas at approximately 15° 17′ N, 89° 13′ W, at an elevation of 600 m."

Hyla panchoi — Wiens, Fetzner, Parkinson, and Reeder, 2005, Syst. Biol., 54: 25. by implication.

English Names

Guatemala Stream Frog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 63).

Distribution

Elevations of 100-895 m on the northern slopes of the Sierra de las Minas and the Montaņas del Mico in eastern Guatemala.
