Hyla euthysanota Kellogg, 1928, Proc. Biol. Soc. Washington, 41: 123. Holotype: USNM 73296, according to Cochran, 1961, Bull. U.S. Natl. Mus., 220: 53. Type locality: "Los Esesmiles, Departament of Chalatenango, El Salvador, C[entral]. A[merica]. Altitude 6400 feet".

Hyla rozellae Taylor, 1942, Univ. Kansas Sci. Bull., 28: 78. Holotype: USNM 115039, by original designation. Type locality: "Salto de Agua, Chiapas", Mexico. Synonymy by Duellman, 1963, Univ. Kansas Publ. Mus. Nat. Hist., 15: 316.

Distribution

Humid montane forest at elevations of 600-2200 m on the Pacific slopes of the Sierra from southeastern Mexico (Chiapas, extreme eastern Oaxaca) and Pacific slopes of Guatemala and El Salvador.
