Distribution

Pacific slopes of the Sierra Madre de Chiapas and extreme eastern Oaxaca, Mexico; northern slopes of the Sierra de Cuchumatanes, mountains in El Quiché, and Sierra de las Minas, Guatemala; also in Sierra de Omoa in southwestern Honduras.
