Hyla chryses Adler, 1965, Occas. Pap. Mus. Zool. Univ. Michigan, 642: 1. Holotype: UMMZ 125374, by original designation. Type locality: "between 'Puerto Chico' and 'Asoleadero' (about 45 km airline west-northwest of Chilpancingo), Guerrero, Mexico, 2540-2600 m."
