Amphodus auratus Boulenger, 1917, Ann. Mag. Nat. Hist., Ser. 8, 20: 185. Syntypes: BMNH 1917.9.27.39-41 according to Condit, 1964, J. Ohio Herpetol. Soc., 4: 86. Type locality: "Mount Tucutche, a little above 3000 feet altitude", Trinidad.

Distribution

Summit of Aripo and El Tucuche, in the Northern Range, and likely also on Morne Bleu Ridge, Trinidad, ca. 940 m elevation.
