Coll. Brit. Mus., Ed. 2: 455 (provisionally) and Bokermann, 1966, An. Acad. Brasil. Cienc., 38: 336. Recognized as Amphodus wuchereri by Goin, 1961, Ann. Carnegie Mus., 36: 7.
