Hyla shrevei Taylor, 1952, Breviora, 1: 1. Holotype: MCZ 26769, by original designation. Type locality: "La Loma, Chiriquicito, República de Panama", in error; see comments by McCranie and Wilson, 2002, Amph. Honduras: 257. Synonymy by Goin, 1959, Copeia, 1959: 340. McCranie and Casteñeda, 2006, Herpetologica, 62: 322, suggested that this synonymy needs to be revisited.

Hyla wilderae — Duellman, 1977, Das Tierreich, 95: 110. Error for Hyla wilderi.

Osteopilus wilderae — Powell and Henderson, 2003, Herpetol. Rev., 34: 342.
