Osteocephalus mimeticus (Melin, 1941)
Hyla mimetica Melin, 1941, Göteborgs K. Vetensk. Vitterh. Samh. Handl., Ser. B, 1: 24. Syntypes: NHMG 469 (2 specimens), according to Duellman, 1977, Das Tierreich, 95: 107; the one corresponding to Fig. 10a in the original publication was designated lectotype by Jungfer, 2010, Zootaxa, 2407: 39. Type locality: "Roque, [San Martín Department,] Peru".
Hyla elkejungigerae Henle, 1981, Amphibia-Reptilia, 2: 123. Holotype: ZFMK 33352, by original designation. Type locality: "Peru: El Boqueron, ca. 1000 m NN". Synonymy by Jungfer, 2010, Zootaxa, 2407: 39.

Distribution
Andean foothills from about 260 to 1650 m elevation from the Huancabamba Depression southward from Departamento San Martín, Peru, at least to Departamento Cuzco, Peru; also reported from Pilon Lajas, Departamento Beni, Bolivia.
