Osteocephalus germani Ron, Venegas, Toral, Read, Ortiz, and Manzano, 2012, ZooKeys, 229: 30. Holotype: CORBIDI 05462, by original designation. Type locality: "Peru, Región Cusco, Provincia La Convención, near Pongo de Mainique in the vicinity of Santuario Natural Megantoni (12.2581° S, 72.8425° W), 670 m above sea level".

English Names

None noted.

Distribution

Known only from southern Peru in the Urubamba River basin in the foothills of the Peruvian Andes to lowland forest; isolated records in French Guiana and Rio Jurua, Brazil.

Comment

In the Osteocephalus buckleyi group according to the original publication, where it was noted that the French Guiana and Brazilian records may be assignable to unnamed species.
