Nyctimantis Boulenger, 1882, Cat. Batr. Sal. Coll. Brit. Mus., Ed. 2: 421. Type species: Nyctimantis rugiceps Boulenger, 1882, by monotypy.

English Names

Brown-eyed Treefrogs (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 60).

Distribution

Amazonian Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru; presumably to be found in adjacent Brazil.
