Hyla aromatica Ayarzagüena and Señaris, 1994 "1993", Mem. Soc. Cienc. Nat. La Salle, 53: 129. Holotype: MHNLS 12510, by original designation. Type locality: "Cumbre del Tepuy Huachamacari, Estado Amazonas, Venezuela. (03° 50′ N - 65° 45′ O) 1 700 m s.n.m."
