Comment

In Cophomantini of Faivovich, Haddad, Garcia, Frost, Campbell, and Wheeler, 2005, Bull. Am. Mus. Nat. Hist., 294: 75. Ayarzagüena and Señaris, 1994 "1993", Mem. Soc. Cienc. Nat. La Salle, 53: 127-146, defined the Hyla aromatica group of the Tepui Region of Venezuela, which is equivalent to Myersiohyla. Wiens, Kuczynski, Hua, and Moen, 2010, Mol. Phylogenet. Evol., 5555: 871-882, suggested that Myersiohyla may not be monophyletic. Pyron and Wiens, 2011, Mol. Phylogenet. Evol., 61: 543-583, in their study of Genbank sequences, also arrived at this conclusion.
