Hyla sarampiona Ruiz-Carranza and Lynch, 1982, Caldasia, 13: 664. Holotype: ICN 7440, by original designation. Type locality: "Quebrada Sopladero, Parque Nacional Natural de Munchique, 33 km NNE of La Uribe, flanco occidental de la Cordillera Occidental, 2.190 m. s. n. m., Departamento del Cauca, Colombia".

Distribution

Region of the type locality on the western slopes of Cordillera Occidental of Andes in the Department of Cauca, Colombia. 2190 m elevation.
