Hyla platydactyla Boulenger, 1905, Ann. Mag. Nat. Hist., Ser. 7, 16: 183. Holotype: BMNH 1947.2.13.14 (formerly 1904.6.30.17 according to Condit, 1964, J. Ohio Herpetol. Soc., 4: 94). Type locality: "Merida, Andes of Venezuela".

Hyla paramica Rivero, 1961, Bull. Mus. Comp. Zool., 126: 112. Holotype: UMMZ 59016, by original designation. Type locality: "Escorial, [Estado Mérida,] Venezuela". Synonymy by Duellman, 1972, Occas. Pap. Mus. Nat. Hist. Univ. Kansas, 11: 27.

Distribution

Mérida Andes in western Venezuela and the eastern flank of the Eastern Andes in the Department of Norte de Santander in northeastern Colombia.
