Hyloscirtus vermiculatus Lutz and Ruiz-Carranza, 1977, Bol. Mus. Nac., Rio de Janeiro, N.S., Zool., 289: 1. Holotype: ICN 0316, by original designation. Type locality: "Páramo de Guantiva, 3600 m. alt., Departament of Boyacá, 14 km from Belon de Cerinza", Colombia. Synonymy by Ruiz-Carranza and Lynch, 1982, Caldasia, 13: 649.

Distribution

Central part of Cordillera Oriental (4° 40′ N to 6° N) of Andes in Colombia, 1750-3600 m elevation.
