Hyla albopunctulata Boulenger, 1882, Cat. Batr. Sal. Coll. Brit. Mus., Ed. 2: 385. Syntypes: BMNH (5 specimens) by original designation; including BMNH 80.12.5.159-162, 80.12.5.230 according to Condit, 1964, J. Ohio Herpetol. Soc., 4: 87. Type locality: "Sarayacu", Provincia Pastaza, Ecuador (in error?) (1 specimen) and "Ecuador" (4 specimens).
