Hyliola bocourti Mocquard, 1899, Nouv. Arch. Mus. Natl. Hist. Nat. Paris, Ser. 4, 1: 341-342. Syntypes: MNHNP 1266 (2 specimens), 6370 (6 specimens), 6371 (6 specimens), according to Duellman, 1977, Das Tierreich, 95: 55; MNHNP 98.259 (1 specimen), according to Guibé, 1950 "1948", Cat. Types Amph. Mus. Natl. Hist. Nat.: 18. 14 syntypes noted in the original publication. Type locality: "Haute Vera-Paz", Guatemala.

Distribution

Highlands (1300-1536 m) of Baja Verapaz and southern Alta Verapaz, Guatemala.
