Hyla echinata Duellman, 1961, Trans. Kansas Acad. Sci., 64: 349. Holotype: UIMNH 49339, by original designation. Type locality: "Vista Hermosa, Oaxaca, México (elevation 1500 meters)".

Distribution

Known only from the type locality on the northern slope of the Sierra Juárez in northern Oaxaca, Mexico, ca. 2000 m elevation.
