Leptodactylodon stevarti Rödel and Pauwels, 2003, Salamandra, 39: 139. Holotype: IRSNB 1928, by original designation. Type locality: "forest strean, 550 m a.s.l., 0° 37´ 301 N, 10° 24´ 402 [sic] E. near Tchimbélé dam, Haut-Komo Department, Woleu-Ntem Province, Gabon".

Known only from the type locality (near Tchimbélé dam, Haut-Komo Department, Woleu-Ntem Province, northwestern Gabon); only at Monte Alen in Equatorial Guinea.
