Dendropsophus juliani Moravec, Aparicio, and Köhler, 2006, Zootaxa, 1327: 24. Holotype: CBF 5923, by original designation. Type locality: "vicinity of the settlement of Barracón on the road from Cobija to Riberalta, 160 m a.s.l., 11° 33′ S, 66° 56′ W, Provincia Madre de Dios, Departamento Pando, Bolivia".

English Names

None noted.

Distribution

Known definitely only from the type locality in Provincia Madre de Dios, Departamento Pando, but possibly also from the Departmento Santa Cruz, suggesting its likely occurrence in adjacent Brazil.

Comment

Most similar to members of the Dendropsophus microcephalus group according to the original publication. Jansen, Bloch, Schulze, and Pfenninger, 2011, Zool. Scripta, 40: 567-583, suggested on the basis of molecular data the possibility of an unnamed cryptic species in Bolivia.
