Hyla grandisonae Goin, 1966, Q. J. Florida Acad. Sci., 29: 39. Holotype: BMNH 1938.10.3.25, by original designation. Type locality: "in the forest at Mazaruni, British Guiana [= Guyana]".

Distribution
Known only from the type locality in the lowlands of Guyana.
Comment
In the Hyla parviceps group according to Duellman, 2001, Hylid Frogs Middle Am., Ed. 2: 859, who stated the distribution to be "lowlands of the Guianan Region in northeastern South America". In the Dendropsophus parviceps group of Faivovich, Haddad, Garcia, Frost, Campbell, and Wheeler, 2005, Bull. Am. Mus. Nat. Hist., 294: 93.
