Hyla garagoensis Kaplan, 1991, J. Herpetol., 25: 313. Holotype: ICN 17781, by original designation. Type locality: "Finca el Vergel, 38 km (by road) NE Garagoa on road to Miraflores, Vereda el Tunjito, Municipio de Miraflores, Departamento de Boyacá, Colombia, 2020 m".

Distribution

Eastern slope of the Cordillera Oriental in Boyacá, Colombia, 2000-2020 m elevation.

Comment

Similar to members of the Hyla columbiana group, but phylogenetically in a polytomy with the Hyla marmorata group and the group composed of the Hyla parviceps, Hyla leucophyllata, and Hyla microcephala groups, according to the original publication.
