Hyla elianeae Napoli and Caramaschi, 2000, Alytes, 17: 166. Holotype: MNRJ 17297, by original designation. Type locality: "Bela Vista (ca. 22° 06′ S, 56° 31′ W), 180 m above sea level, State of Mato Gross do Sul, Brazil".

Distribution

Cerrados of central and southern Brazil in the states of Goiás, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul and São Paulo, as well as in adjacent east-central Paraguay (Amambay Province).

Comment

In the Hyla rubicundula group according to the original publication. In the Dendropsophus microcephalus group of Faivovich, Haddad, Garcia, Frost, Campbell, and Wheeler, 2005, Bull. Am. Mus. Nat. Hist., 294: 91-92. Brusquetti and Lavilla, 2006, Cuad. Herpetol., 20: 8, briefly discussed the range in Paraguay.
