Distribution
Known only from the vicinity of the type locality in the states of Mato Grosso and Goiás, Brazil.
Comment
In the Hyla rubicundula group, close to Hyla tritaeniata according to the original publication. In the Dendropsophus microcephalus group of Faivovich, Haddad, Garcia, Frost, Campbell, and Wheeler, 2005, Bull. Am. Mus. Nat. Hist., 294: 92.
