Hyla caramaschii Napoli, 2005, Herpetologica, 61: 64. Holotype: MNRJ 23701, by original designation. Type locality: "Municipality of Santa Teresa (19° 56′ S, 40° 36′ W; 655 m altitude), State of Espírito Santo, Brazil".

Distribution

Reported from the northern part of the Serra da Mantiqueira, Espírito Santo and Minas Gerais states, Brazil.

Comment

In the Hyla circumdata group according to the original publication. In the Bokermannohyla circumdata group of Faivovich, Haddad, Garcia, Frost, Campbell, and Wheeler, 2005, Bull. Am. Mus. Nat. Hist., 294: 82-83. The record from Bahia, Brazil, by Orrico and Solé, 2008, Herpetol. Rev., 39: 361-362, was rejected by Napoli, Encarnação, Cunha, Abreu, and Herrera, 2011, Herpetol. Notes, 4: 105-109, as being based on Bokermannohyla circumdata.
