Bokermannohyla capra Napoli and Pimenta, 2009, Copeia, 2009: 675. Holotype: UFBA 7492, by original designation. Type locality: "Brazil, State of Bahia, Municipality of Amargosa, Serra do Timbo´ , 13°04′S, 39°38′W, 800 m elevation".
None noted.
Known only from coastal Atlantic Forest remnants in eastern Bahia, northeastern Brazil, within regions known as Vale do Jiquiriçá , Baixo Sul, and Litoral Sul.
In the Bokermannohyla circumdata group, and confused with Bokermannohyla hylax prior to its naming, according to the original publication. Mercês, Protázio, and Juncá, 2012, Zootaxa, 3167: 66-68, reported on larval morphology.
