Type locality: "Mont Mélétan (massif des Bamboutos), env. 2600 m", Cameroon.

Central Night Frog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 37).

Distribution

Central Cameroon Range (Bamboutos Mountains, Lake Oku, and Mount Neshele in the Bafut-Ngemba Forest Reserve), in the afro-subalpine zone, 2000-2600 m elevation.
