Hyla sibilata Cruz, Pimenta, and Silvano, 2003, Bol. Mus. Nac., Rio de Janeiro, N.S., Zool., 503: 6. Holotype: MNRJ 27194, by original designation. Type locality: "BRASIL: BAHIA: Municipio de Cairu, Fazenda Subaśma (13° 31′ S, 39° 03′ W, 20 m de altitude)".

Known from central-eastern Bahia to Alagoas, Brazil.

Comment

In the Hyla albosignata group according to the original publication. In the Aplastodiscus albosignatus group of Faivovich, Haddad, Garcia, Frost, Campbell, and Wheeler, 2005, Bull. Am. Mus. Nat. Hist., 294: 82. Lima, Skuk, and Silva, 2006, Herpetol. Rev., 37: 485, provided the record for Alagoas and detailed records from Bahia.
