Astylosternus diadematus Werner, 1898, Verh. Zool. Bot. Ges. Wien, 48: 200. Holotype: ZMB 13920 according to J.-L. Amiet in Frost, 1985, Amph. Species World: 21. Type locality: "Victoria [now Limbé], Kamerun".

English Names

Victoria Night Frog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 37).

Distribution

Western and southwestern Cameroon, and possibly in extreme eastern Nigeria, at elevations of 250-1100 m.
