Cardioglossa occidentalis Blackburn, Kosuch, Schmitz, Burger, Wagner, Gonwouo, Hillers, and Rödel, 2008, Copeia, 2008: 604. Holotype: SMNS 9632.2, by original designation. Type locality: "Ivory Coast, Taď National Park, transect 1, at the bank of a small creek in swampy, primary rainforest, 05°50´03.5N, 007°20´57.0W".

Distribution

Rainforests of southern Ghana, southern Ivory Coast, Liberia, southern Guinea, and eastern Sierra Leone.

Comment

Most similar to Cardioglossa leucomystax (with which it was previously confused), Cardioglossa melanogaster, and Cardioglossa schioetzi.
