Cardioglossa manengouba Blackburn, 2008, Zool. J. Linn. Soc., 154: 613. Holotype: MCZ A-137909, by original designation. Type locality: "Republic of Cameroon, Littoral Province, Mt Manengouba, 05°00′38.9″N, 09°51′24.8″E, montane gallery forest, approximately 2160 m elevation".

Most similar to Cardioglossa oreas according to the original publication.
