Pararthroleptis zimmeri Ahl, 1925 "1923", Sitzungsber. Ges. Naturforsch. Freunde Berlin, 1923: 104. Syntypes: ZMB (2 specimens) unnumbered in the original publication. ZMB 8389 and 27806, according to D. Blackburn (personal. comm.). Type locality: "Accra", Ghana.

English Names

Zimmer's Screeching Frog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 37).

Distribution

Known only from the type locality (Accra, Ghana).

Comment

Rödel and Bangoura, 2004, Tropical Zool., 17: 213, suggested that this is a synonym of Arthroleptis poecilonotus.
