Hyla ohausi Wandolleck, 1907, Abh. Ber. Zool. Anthropol. Ethnograph. Mus. Dresden, 11: 14. Holotype: MTD D2033, destroyed in WWII according to Duellman, 1977, Das Tierreich, 95: 12. Type locality: "Urwäldern von Petropolis", Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Fritzia hohousi — Miranda-Ribeiro, 1920, Rev. Mus. Paulista, São Paulo, 12: 327. Incorrect subsequent spelling.

Fritziana ohausi — Bokermann, 1966, Lista Anot. Local. Tipo Anf. Brasil.: 57.

Flectonotus ohausi — Weygoldt and Carvalho-e-Silva, 1991, Amphibia-Reptilia, 12: 67-80. by implication; Duellman, Jungfer, and Blackburn, 2011, Phyllomedusa, 10: 19.

Distribution

Mountains of coastal southeastern Brazil (in the states of Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, and Espirito Santo).
