Hyla goeldii Boulenger, 1895 "1894", Proc. Zool. Soc. London, 1894: 645. Syntypes: BMNH 1947.2.12.69-70 (formerly 94.5.23.14-15) according to Condit, 1964, J. Ohio Herpetol. Soc., 4: 90. Type locality: "Colonia Alpina, Theresopolis, [Rio de Janeiro,] Brazil".
