Nototrema pygmaeum Boettger, 1893, Ber. Senckenb. Naturforsch. Ges., 1893: 40. Syntypes: SMF 1419; SMF 1419.a designated lectotype by implication by Mertens, 1922, Senckenb. Biol., 4: 163; SMF 2679 (new numbering system) designated lectotype formally by Mertens, 1967, Senckenb. Biol., 48(A): 43. Type locality: "Puerto Cabello [, Estado Carabobo,] in Venezuela".

English Names

Distribution

Mérida Andes and Cordillera de la Costa, Venezuela; on the adjacent eastern slopes of the northern Cordillera Oriental, Norte de Santander, Colombia, 1100-1600 m elevation.
