Hyla fuhrmanni Peracca, 1914, Mem. Soc. Neuchatel. Sci. Nat., 5: 108. Holotype: Deposition not stated, although presumably in MZUT. Type locality: "Guaca [= Heliconia] (C[ordillčres]. c[entrales]., alt. 1600 m.)", Departamento Antioquia, Colombia.

Cryptobatrachus fuhrmanni orientalis Rivero, 1968 "1966", Caribb. J. Sci., 6: 148. Holotype: UMMZ 74812, by original designation. Type locality: "San Gil, [Departamento Santander,] Colombia". Distinctiveness from nominal Cryptobatrachus fuhrmanni rejected by Lynch, 2008, Zootaxa, 1883: 60.

Distribution

Eastern slope of the Cordillera Occidental (southern Antioquia, Caldas), northern and eastern flanks of the Cordillera Central (Antioquia, and northern Tolima), and the western slope of the Cordillera Oriental (Santander and Cundinamarca), Colombia, 900-2000 m elevation.
