Eleutherodactylus (Euhyas) tonyi Estrada and Hedges, 1997, Caribb. J. Sci., 33: 227. Holotype: MNHNCU 683, by original designation. Type locality: "Cueva del Fustete, Meseta de Cabo Cruz, Municipio Niquero, Granma Province, Cuba, 50 m".

Meseta de Cabo Cruz, Granma Province, and the vicinity of Penta Peñón del Macho in Santiago de Cuba Province, eastern Cuba, 0-70 m elevation.
Comment
Similar to Eleutherodactylus planirostris according to the original publication. Díaz and Cadíz, 2008, Guía Taxon. Anf. Cuba, 4: 89-90, provided a brief account, illustration, and map.
