Eleutherodactylus thorectes Hedges, 1988, Copeia, 1988: 636. Holotype: FSM 64545, by original designation. Type locality: "the crest and peak of Morne Macay, Dépt. du Sud, Haiti (18° 22´ 53 N, 74° 01´ 29 W), 2200-2340 m".

Distribution

Restricted to the highest elevations of the Massif de la Hotte, southwestern Haiti, 1700-2340 m elevation.
