Known from the Sierra de Crista, Monte Iberia, and Tetas de Julias, and Meseta del Toldo, Holguín and Guantánamo provinces, southeastern Cuba, 300-600 m elevation.
The sister species of Eleutherodactylus intermedius according to the original publication. Excluded from the Eleutherodactylus dimidiatus group by Díaz, Cádiz, and Navarro, 2005, Caribb. J.
