Distribution

Known from the vicinity of the type locality (La Cantera) in Granma Province, and the Meseta del Guaso, Guantánamo Province, eastern Cuba, 100-270 m elevation.

In the Eleutherodactylus ricordii group, according to the original publication. Not assignable to species group according to Hedges, 1989, in Woods (ed.), Biogeograph. W. Indies: 325.
