Eleutherodactylus leberi Schwartz, 1965, Herpetologica, 21: 27. Holotype: AMNH 71968, by original designation. Type locality: "14.6 mi. WSW of Maffo, Oriente [now Santiago de Cuba] Province, Cuba"

Distribution

Region of the type locality in the northern foothills of the Sierra Maestra and Los Hondones, north of Guantánamo, Guantánamo and Santiago de Cuba provinces, Cuba, 300-465 m elevation.
