Eleutherodactylus griphus Crombie, 1986, Trans. San Diego Soc. Nat. Hist., 21: 146. Holotype: USNM 250000, by original designation. Type locality: "Vicinity of the 'the cave,' about 7 mi (11.2 km) WNW Quick Step, Trelawny Parish, Jamaica."
