Distribution

Cuba, from Pinar del Río Province east throughout Camagüey Province, sea level to 900 m elevation; an isolated and questionable record from Pico Turquino, Santiago de Cuba Province (UMMZ 80910).

In the Eleutherodactylus (Eleutherodactylus) martinicensis series, Eleutherodactylus martinicensis group of Lynch and Duellman, 1997, Univ. Kansas Mus. Nat. Hist. Spec. Publ., 23: 223. Rodriguez and Alonso, 2003, Herpetol. Rev., 34: 258, provided a record for Zapata Swamp, Matanzas Province, Cuba. In the Eleutherodactylus (Eleutherodactylus) auriculatus species series, Eleutherodactylus auriculatus group of Hedges, Duellman, and Heinicke, 2008, Zootaxa, 1737: 55.
