Eleutherodactylus casparii Dunn, 1926, Occas. Pap. Boston Soc. Nat. Hist., 5: 215. Holotype: MCZ 11130, by original designation. Type locality: "Mina Carlota", near Cienfuegos, Las Villas [now Cienfuegos] Province, Cuba.
