Eleutherodactylus (Euhyas) blairhedgesi Estrada, Díaz, and Rodriguez, 1998 "1997", Rev. Esp. Herpetol., 11: 19. Holotype: MNHNCU 666, by original designation. Type locality: "la vertiente norte de la Loma Canasí, municipio Santa Cruz del Norte, provincia de La Habana, Cuba, 5 m de altitud (s.n.m.)".

Known only from the local region of the type locality (Santa Cruz del Norte, La Habana Province, Cuba).
