Arthroleptis schubotzi Nieden, 1911 "1910", Sitzungsber. Ges. Naturforsch. Freunde Berlin, 1910: 440. Holotype: ZMB 21774, by original designation. Type locality: "Usumbura", Belgian Ruanda-Urundi (Burundi).

Schoutedenella kivuensis De Witte, 1941, Explor. Parc Natl. Albert, Miss. G.F. de Witte (1933-1935), 33: 89. Syntypes: IRSNB (2 specimen), all other reports of 'types' refer to the many paratypes listed. Type localitiy: "N'Zulu (lac Kivu), passe de Sake (alt. 1.460 m.)", Kivu, Dem. Rep. Congo. Synonymy by Laurent, 1954, Ann. Mus. R. Congo Belge, Tervuren, Ser. Quarto, Sci. Zool., 1: 36.

Distribution

African Rift Valley from the northern shores of Lake Tanganyika to northern Kivu (Dem. Rep. Congo), western Rwanda, and Burundi; western Uganda and southwestern Tanzania.
