Rana sariba Shelford, 1905, Ann. Mag. Nat. Hist., Ser. 7, 15: 209. Holotype: SMK, by original designation. Type locality: "Mount Saribaw [=Saribau], Samarahan River, Sarawak", Malaysia.
Ingerana (Ingerana) sariba — Dubois, 1987 "1986", Alytes, 5: 52.
Saribau Eastern Frog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 99).
Mount Saribau, Sarawak (Borneo), Malaysia.
Resurrected from the synonymy of Micrixalus baluensis by Dubois, 1987 "1986", Alytes, 5: 52, where it had been placed by Van Kampen, 1923, Amph. Indo-Austral. Arch.: 241 (this synonymy considered tentative by Inger, 1966, Fieldiana, Zool., 52: 255). Considered a junior synonym of Ingerana baluensis by Inger and Tan, 1996, Raffles Bull. Zool., 44: 559; without discussion. If Ingerana sariba is close to "Ingerana" baluensis, then it is not a member of Dicroglossidae (DRF).
