Platymantis reticulatus Zhao and Li, 1984, Acta Herpetol. Sinica, Chengdu, N.S.,, 3 (3): 55. Holotype: CIB 8370159, by original designation. Type locality: "Xirang, Medog County, Xizang [= Tibet], alt. 890 m. ", China.

Southeastern Xizang, China.

Comment

Fei, Hu, Ye, and Huang, 2009, Fauna Sinica, Amph. 3: 1484-1486, provided an account for China (as Liurana reticulata), figures, and map, and placed this species in their Liurana xizangensis group. Fei, Ye, and Jiang, 2010, Colored Atlas of Chinese Amph.: 392, provided a brief account (as Liurana reticulata) including photographs. Li, Zhao, and Dong, 2010, Amph. Rept. Tibet: 52, provided an account.
